My work centres on initial conversations with a director to understand their point of view, and then trusting my instincts to design a world that is an original visual translation, developing ideas through drawing, model making, painting, SketchUp and Auto CAD for set. This work moves into active creation, involving myself in the creation of scenic and small props, as well as developing strong characters through research and costume choices.
